| More than the Ocean - Lewis and Clark for Kids |
Click on the picture above right to see some of the artifacts and replicas that will be demonstrated as part of the presentation. This one hour program contains stories of the Corps of Discovery that are of high interest to children. Hear stories of the food they ate, and the plants and animals they encountered. Great care has been given to portray the Native Tribes in a positive light. After all the Corps would not have completed the journey without their assistance. The artifacts include: An authentic Cedar Hat, A Northwest Coastal Drum, A large and medium Jefferson Peace Medal, A "Throttle", a spontoon and much more.....
